1. Who we are

Cognix Solutions (Private) Limited, a company registered in Pakistan, is the data controller for personal information collected through this website.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what you give us.

• Contact form: your name, email address, optional phone number, optional organisation, and the contents of your message.
• Job application form: your name, email address, optional phone number, the role you applied to, your cover note, and your CV file.
• Automatic information: when you submit a form we record your browser's user-agent string and the URL that referred you, for spam detection.

We do not use cookies for advertising or third-party analytics on this site.

3. How we use it

The information you provide is used only to:

• Respond to your enquiry.
• Evaluate your job application.
• Improve the quality of our service.

We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.

4. Legal basis

We process your information on the basis of your consent (given through the consent checkbox on each form) and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries directed at us.

5. Where it lives

Forms write to Google's Firebase services (Cloud Firestore and Cloud Storage). Cognix is the data controller; Google acts as our data processor. Google's data-handling practices are documented at policies.google.com/privacy.

6. Retention

• Contact enquiries are retained for up to 24 months unless we are in active conversation with you.
• Job applications are retained for up to 24 months from submission. After that, they are deleted unless you have asked to be kept on file.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Application CVs are not publicly accessible; they can be downloaded only by the Cognix hiring team after authentication.

8. Your rights

You may request:

• A copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correction of inaccurate information.
• Deletion of your information.
• Withdrawal of your consent at any time.

9. Children

The website is not intended for children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will change when we do.
